From a tittte girt ptaying under the til,ac tree or ctimbing 1 of the elms in the front yard to read a mystery, she has finatLy arrived with her own book! Movingfrom lowa to Missouri in the winter of 1971/72 was hard on a new teen that had just lost her daddy. His death was so sudden. But move she did and Missouri came to be her home, even though eventuaI moves (or transfers) around the U.S. and the gtobe would take her away. As an Army wife, moves inctuded Arizonia, Germany, and the last duty station was back to her home state of Missouri.
Atas, not only did the 1’t marriage fait but so did a 2nd for various reasons,
which included abuse. Tami found hersetf as a singte mom with 3 tittl.e girts to
raise. As they each reached adutthood, she had to bury her middte girl.. No
parent shoutd have to do this. She put hersetf through coltege and started
working with SociaI Services. However, not before Fibromyalgia became
painfutty apparent as the resutt of the abuse and treatment from both
marriages.
Being singte lar 20 years altowed her to focus on her primary relationships.
God 1st, family 2nd, community 3rd. Apparentty, in God’s eyes, this made her
ready for a new man to come into her tife. They were married and he encouraged her to finatty write the book of her heart. This man is and has been Tami’s soul mate. He is her best friend and he is her love.
He takes care of her on those days when she can barely take care of hersetf due to the aches, pains, and tenderness that ptagues her body. A complaint from him? Never!! Because God prepared them for each other before they ever met. His strength and encouragement, her mother and daughters’encouragement and here is Tami with her new book…her devotionat.
lt is now ready for you. Btessings and Gentte Hugs dear friends.
